Reading and Writing All Sorts

I stumbled across this interesting study earlier today, showing how to utilise a Smartphone App to help people reconnect to nature, especially those people that are not near national parks, open woodlands, etc. Some fantastic scientific references too. It is from a very informative blog called Finding Nature and is about people reconnecting; I like it because it’s scientific and has references you can do your own research with.
Although this may fly in the face of my previous post regarding information on having a Digital Detox (which I still believe is a necessity in today’s world), this is a shining example of when we can utilise our digital world to our advantage. My recent essay on Technology in the NHS also opened my eyes to the life-saving benefits of the digital world, which I will post about another time.
Still think we need to rest from it though 😉
